Participation in systems precedes claims of ownership over systems.
Explanation
Individuals and entities generate value through:
- existence
- interaction
- labor
- data generation
- coordination
- contribution
Ownership systems emerge afterward as mechanisms for organizing claims over value.
Contribution creates a legitimate claim, not an automatic entitlement to identical ownership.
The strength and form of that claim depends on Relational Attribution, Value Distribution, Agency, and the degree to which the contributor is affected by the system they help produce.
Inclusionist Perspective
Civilizations become unstable when participation and ownership become disconnected.
When contributors are structurally separated from the value, governance, or agency produced by their participation, ownership becomes extractive rather than legitimate.
